About us

Small clothes deserve long lives

Kiddies Cabin started with one overflowing drawer of barely-worn babygrows and a simple question: why does something worn twice end up in landfill?

Every parent knows the moment. You reach for the sleepsuit that fit last week and it suddenly doesn't. The average baby outgrows seven clothing sizes in their first two years, and most of those clothes are worn a handful of times — some never at all, tags still attached.

We built Kiddies Cabin to give those clothes a second (and third, and fourth) home. We buy nearly-new baby clothes and accessories directly from families, check every single piece by hand, sanitise it, and resell it at a fraction of the new price. Sellers get paid without the hassle of photographing and listing forty tiny vests. Buyers get quality-checked clothes they can trust. And good clothes stay in circulation instead of a bin bag.

Along the way we launched Cabin Originals — our own label of organic cotton basics designed from the first stitch to survive more than one baby. Every Original comes with a guaranteed buy-back, so when it's outgrown, it comes straight back to the Cabin and out to the next family.

We're a small team of parents, menders, and careful folders. We know what a 3am nappy change does to a popper, which is exactly why we check every one.
